News and Notes In The Life of Our Church
Beginning this past May, we began a process of selecting our favorite hymns among the congregation of Union Avenue Christian Church. We carefully considered the hymns that resonate with our personal faith journeys, submitted our ballots, compiled the results into our TOP 40 COUNTDOWN, and then we sang four of those hymns each Sunday, beginning in June. We started with #40 and we sang four songs each week until we arrived at #1.

This Epiphany will see our congregation open its hearts and minds and doors to a feast of the Spirit as we officially install our new Senior Minister, the Rev. Michael Riggs, and inaugurate our shared ministry together. Please join us for this special service and reception marking a milestone in the life of our congregation.

We'll sing the songs of Christmas, offer up our prayers of thanksgiving and hope, and we'll work together to serve our community and neighbors in need. It's a great way to start a new year!
