Lavetta Ross

Reverend La’Vetta Ross was ordained into the ministry having earned a Master of Divinity from Eden Seminary in 2015. previously she served as Clergy-In-Residence with United Christian Church in New Jersey. However, Rev. Ross is no stranger to the Midwest. She grew up in the Greater Kansas City area and she has had leadership experience in several area churches while conducing worship services and outreach projects. She also has training and experience in chaplaincy ministry in clinical settings.

Scott Schoonover

Scott Schoonover, Music Director, is a gifted musician, conductor, and choral director. In addition to his work as Music Director for Union Avenue Christian Church, he is the founder and Artistic Director of Union Avenue Opera. He also has conducted and directed other opera companies and choral ensembles, including Asheville Lyric Opera in Asheville, North Carolina, Muddy River Opera in Quincy, Illinois, Winter Opera St. Louis, The Bel Canto Chorus, and he currently directs the Missouri Women’s Chorus.  You can reach Scott, by email, at smschoonover@yahoo.com

Warren Gibson

Warren Gibson, Church Administrator, Warren is a life-long resident of St Louis. He earned a BA in Biblical Studies at American Baptist College in Nashville, TN. He appreciates a variety of arts and music. He enjoys painting and graphic design for which he was awarded a scholarship to the Columbus College of Art and Design. Warren has experience in both management and office administration and is familiar with building needs, scheduling events, and a variety of technical, clerical, and office management issues.
