EASTERTIDE B-SIDES

The three women disciples at the empty tomb.  The earthquake and stone rolling away.  Mary weeping in the garden.  The walk to Emmaus and breaking bread.  The appearance in the upper room.  Thomas touching the wounds.  These are all some of the great stories of Easter heard throughout the season — but not this year!

Ever heard of a “b-side” recording?  Those who remember vinyls and cassettes know that the b-side often featured a lesser known song by an artist that was often a hidden jewel but never got as much airplay as the a-side selection.  Well, this Eastertide we are going to hear several of Easter’s “b-side” selections and rediscover some long-forgotten treasures of scripture that speak to our Easter faith.
