REEL FAITH FOR LENT

This Lent, Union Avenue (St. Louis, MO) and Union Avenue (Litchfield, IL) are sharing together in an online “Faith & Film” series!  Every Saturday afternoon of Lent at 2 p.m., starting February 20, join us on Zoom for a special movie watch party with a different film each week.  We’ll view the film from start to finish and then stay online for a discussion as relates to our walk of faith.  There will be different genres of film (animated feature, action, drama, sci-fi, comedy, thriller) and different subject matters — maybe even different flavors of popcorn and candy, but that part is up to you!

We’re kicking off our 2021 Faith & Film series with the 2009 Pixar animated film, “Up”  If you haven’t seen this wonderful film about adventure and self-discovery, check out the trailer here.  The film runs 96 minutes and is rated PG, and all ages are welcome!  Previews of coming attractions starts promptly at 2:00 p.m., just enough time to grab a snack and get ready to enjoy the show!  Zoom links will be provided in the Thursday email two days prior to the showing.
